Never before has the development of infrastructure in Australia been at such a defining crossroad. We are standing in the heart of a once-in-a-generation transformation of how infrastructure can be planned, innovated, executed, and delivered. This is why Phronis was created – to inspire the delivery of world-changing infrastructure.
We are a team of about 40 people in our Brisbane office. This promise and the strength of our team has seen Phronis pursue and secure some significant mechanical and process opportunities on a number of energy, water, renewables, and mine infrastructure projects, and across all phases of the project life cycle (from concept, FEED, detailed design, construction delivery and operations). Our future business strategy also sets out a plan to make some significant investments in robotics and automation too. It is fair to say that the role will provide some good challenge and stretch and you’ll be influential in the future growth of an infrastructure business – not just a team member in a big structure.
Who are we looking for?
We’d value connecting with an experienced mechanical engineer (CPEng and/or RPEQ accredited) who:
- has a depth of experience across energy, mining, industrial, water and transport projects;
- a commercial focus to your thinking, as we often support clients with strategy and feasibility work. This might come from a dual degree (e.g. commerce, finance, MBA) or from an interest in or exposure to advisory type work too.
The business has always valued flexibility in work. We enjoy the social connection of coming together in our HQ in Brisbane regularly too. You’ll work beside people who are equally driven to do good work together and grow something different. You’ll work across a team with significant mechanical experience.
Sound like you? Fancy a move to Queensland if you’re interstate? We’d love to hear from you.
